Photographer Aron Viszlo was commissioned to capture the Coquilhat monument in Koning Albertpark Antwerpen. This statue is a memorial to Camille Coquilhat, designed and created by sculptor Jacques de Lalaing in 1893. At the end of the 19th century, Coquilhat founded the Force Publique, the colonial army commissioned by Leopold II of Belgium to conquer the Congo and did so with great violence.

The bronze statue depicts a female nude of equatorial African origin, leaning on a banana tree.
